Global Audatex Resources Speed Up Innovation Pipeline

SAN DIEGO (Oct. 17, 2011) – Audatex North America, Inc., the leading global provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing and collision repair industry, showcased an expanded portfolio of solutions at the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) in Orlando this month.  The new offerings are geared toward improving the accuracy and efficiency of  claims processing and collision repair workflows and, ultimately, increasing customer satisfaction.

Among the new solutions presented at NACE were:

  • AudaVIN, a next-generation vehicle identification system that utilizes vehicle identification number (VIN) data to give insurance claim representatives, appraisers and collision repair estimators complete vehicle-specific information recorded by manufacturers on the production line. AudaVIN goes beyond alternative VIN decode technologies in the market to provide accurate vehicle-specific information in seconds while delivering reductions in inspection time. More accurate damage costs and total loss valuations, along with improvements in first call settlement rates, are also achieved with AudaVIN.
  • Audatex Insight is the auto claims processing industry's newest Web-based business intelligence platform. Since 2009, this robust analytics solution has empowered insurers to monitor, measure and manage claim performance and loss experience through delivery of the right information at the right time. Now, this advanced technology is available for the reporting and analytical needs of single shop owners and multi-shop organizations. By providing repair facilities with the same data and analytics that insurance carriers use, Audatex Insight delivers data transparency and consistency.  Audatex Insight gives repair facilities the edge they need to succeed in a competitive business environment, helping them to know more about their business, their competition and the industry dynamics that shape this challenging economy.
  • Audatex Repair Status is an intelligent, Web-based solution that enables insurance companies to efficiently track and manage vehicle repairs with collision repair facilities, while also automating the process of communicating repair status to vehicle owners.

Beyond these new solutions, Audatex has also strengthened its product portfolio through strategic acquisitions including SeeProgress, Inc., which delivers additional repair tracking capability to the Audatex platform with AutoWatch. Also, the acquisition of New Era Software earlier this year brought the addition of AutoFocus, an intuitive, easy-to-use body shop management system.
